Chef Shanesy has been making exciting changes to our menu since December of 2018. If you haven’t dined with us recently, you should. A key member of Ten Course Hospitality, John also oversees the kitchen at The Whiskey Jar.

Prior to joining Ten Course Hospitality, John was Chef de Cuisine at  Petit Pois, under Brian Helleburg, Parallel 38, a sous chef of The Blue Light Grill. John is excited about bringing his experience he has seen at McCradys in Charleston and stages in New York City in Michelin starred kitchens. He got his humble start right out of high school in the dishpit of Charlottesville staple Continental Divide also spent time at Paradox PastryMAS Tapas and The BBQ Exchange.
